គណបក្សភ្លើងទៀន យល់ឃើញថា ក្រោយការបោះឆ្នោតជ្រើសរើសក្រុមប្រឹក្សាឃុំ-សង្កាត់អាណត្តិទី ៥ នេះ លំហរប្រជាធិបតេយ្យ និងការគោរពសិទ្ធិមនុស្ស មានលក្ខណៈរួមតូចចង្អៀតជាងមុន ខណៈដែលការប្រើប្រាស់ប្រព័ន្ធ តុលាការ និងការគាបសង្កត់ ដើម្បីធ្វើទុក្ខបុកម្នេញលើសកម្មជនគណបក្សប្រឆាំង នៅតែបន្តកើតមានជាហូរហែរ។

ជាក់ស្តែង ថ្មីៗនេះ សកម្មជនគណបក្សភ្លើងទៀន ចំនួន៤រូប បានទទួលរងការចាប់ខ្លួន ការឃុំខ្លួន និងការធ្វើទុក្ខបុកម្នេញ រួមមាន៖

• លោក ឡី សុខុន ប្រធានក្រុមការងារគណបក្សភ្លើងទៀន ស្រុកឯកភ្នំ ខេត្តបាត់ដំបង ត្រូវបានអាជ្ញាធរចាប់និងឃុំ ខ្លួនកាលពីថ្ងៃទី០៨ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២២
• លោក ញឹម សារ៉ុម បេក្ខជនមេឃុំជាប់ឆ្នោតរបស់គណបក្សភ្លើងទៀន នៅឃុំចំណារលើ ស្រុកស្ទោង ខេត្តកំពង់ធំ ត្រូវបានអាជ្ញាធរចាប់ខ្លួននៅថ្ងៃទី២១ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២២

• លោក អេង ស្រូយ ប្រធានក្រុមការងារគណបក្សភ្លើងទៀន ខេត្តត្បូងឃ្មុំ ត្រូវបានក្រសួងមហាផ្ទៃបណ្ដេញចេញពីក្របខណ្ឌមន្ត្រីនគរបាលជាតិ នៅថ្ងៃទី១៦ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២២

• លោក កែវ សុមុនី បេក្ខជនចៅសង្កាត់រងទី២ជាប់ឆ្នោត នៅសង្កាត់ច្បារអំពៅ ខណ្ឌច្បារអំពៅ រាជធានីភ្នំពេញ ត្រូវ បានក្រសួងសុខាភិបាលលុបឈ្មោះចេញពីក្របខ័ណ្ឌរបស់ក្រសួង នៅថ្ងៃទី២១ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២២។

គណបក្សភ្លើងទៀន ថ្កោលទោសចំពោះសកម្មភាពខាងលើ។ គណបក្សចាត់ទុកទង្វើនេះ ធ្វើឡើងក្រោមហេតុ ផលនយោបាយ យ៉ាងអយុត្តិធម៌បំផុត និងជាការរំលោភយ៉ាងធ្ងន់ធ្ងរ ទៅលើសិទ្ធិពលរដ្ឋ ដែលមានចែងនៅក្នុងរដ្ឋធម្មនុញ្ញន ព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា និងកតិកាសញ្ញាអន្តរជាតិ ស្ដីពីសិទ្ធិពលរដ្ឋ និងសិទ្ធិនយោបាយ។

គណបក្សភ្លើងទៀន – សូមអំពាវនាវដល់រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាល បញ្ឈប់ការចាប់ខ្លួន ការឃុំខ្លួន ការគម្រាមកំហែង និង ការធ្វើទុក្ខបុកម្នេញតាមគ្រប់រូបភាពដល់សមាជិក-សមាជិកា គណបក្សភ្លើងទៀន ដើម្បីធានាលំហរប្រជាធិបតេយ្យនៅក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា៕

Statement

The Candle Light Party believes that after the Commune / Sangkat Council election of the fifth mandate, the space for democracy and respect for human rights has been narrower, while the use of the judiciary and repression has been used to persecute party activists; this has been unabatedly continuing:

Recently, four Candle Light Party activists were arrested, detained and harassed such as÷

• Mr. Ley Sokhon, Chairman of the Working Group of the Candle Light Party for Ek Phnom District, Battambang Province, was arrested and detained by the authorities on June 08, 2022.
• Mr. Nhim Sarom, Commune chief-elect candidate of Chamna Leu commune, Stong District, Kampong Thom province, arrested by the authorities on June 21, 2022.

• Mr.Eng Sroy, Chairman of Tbong Khmum Candle Light Party Working Group, was fired by the Ministry of Interior from National Police Officer on June 16, 2022.
• Mr. Keo Somony, the candidate for the second deputy commune chief-elect in Sangkat Chbar Ampov, Khan Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh, was removed from the Ministry of Health Position on June 21, 2022.

The Candle Light Party condemns the above actions. The party considers this act to be for the most unjust political maneuvering and to be a serious violation of the civil rights enshrined in the Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

Candle Light Party calls on the Royal Government to stop the arrests, detentions, threats and all forms of persecution of the Candle Light Party members to ensure a democratic space in Cambodia.
